Royal Caribbean Cruises

Royal Caribbean International has delivered innovation at sea for more than 50 years. Each successive class of ships presents a new architectural marvel, enhanced with the latest technology and new exciting experiences for today’s adventurous travelers. The cruise line sails 28 ships to more than 270 destinations in 72 countries on six continents, including the Royal Caribbean private island in The Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay. Royal Caribbean has earned “Best Cruise Line Overall” for 22 consecutive years in the Travel Weekly Readers’ Choice Awards.

Game-changing Ships
Royal Caribbean has built its reputation by providing the most innovative experiences in the cruise industry. For the modern traveler, cruising was first redefined in 1999 with creative new activities onboard Voyager Class ships, including an ice-skating rink, a rock-climbing wall, and the Royal Promenade — a main boulevard of shops, restaurants and lounges running the length of the ship.

In 2009, the game-changing Oasis Class ships hit the high seas and completely revolutionized cruising. Since then, OasisAllure, Harmony, Symphony and Wonder of the Seas reigned as the largest ships in the world for well over a decade. Structured around the cruise line's signature neighborhood concept, each Oasis Class ship offers seven to eight distinctly themed areas, including Central Park, Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade, the Pool and Sports Zone, Vitality Spa and Fitness Center, Entertainment Place and Youth Zone.

The leading cruise line introduced Quantum Class in 2014, with unprecedented innovation in ship design, thrilling activities, cutting-edge technology and multidimensional entertainment. Onboard, there are ground-breaking activities that are now guest favorites, including North Star, the glass capsule that takes guests more than 300 feet above the ocean; Two70, an immersive, multimedia entertainment venue; and the Bionic Bar with robot bartenders.

In 2024, Royal Caribbean totally revolutionized cruising yet again with the first Icon Class ship, Icon of the Seas. The ship has broken more records than any other ship in history — from seven pools on deck to the largest waterpark at sea, over 40 ways to dine and drink, the largest ice arena on a ship and beyond. The new super-sequel Star of the Seas brings it all and more to Port Canaveral beginning summer 2025.

With a passion for building revolutionary ships and a commitment to continuous improvement, the cruise line has a long history of protecting the communities and oceans in which it operates. This includes reducing energy consumption in both marine and hotel operations as well as designing and building the most efficient ships possible. These initiatives exemplify the cruise line’s efforts toward preserving the environment with modern, innovative ship design.

Private Destinations
In 2019 Royal Caribbean reimagined its private island in The Bahamas.Guests visiting Perfect Day at CocoCay now enjoy record-breaking thrills — from the tallest waterslide in North America to the Caribbean’s largest wave pool and more. And relaxation ascends to the ultimate level at Coco Beach Club, a VIP experience with the option to indulge in the first Overwater Cabanas in The Bahamas. The next Perfect Day in Costa Maya Mexico is in development, set to open in 2027. And the first destination in the Royal Beach Club collection opens December 2025 with Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas.
